    hello any one knows how to do this question..please help me!!

    Start by writing out the redox reaction equation for the nitrite ions and permanganate ions by combining these two.

    Permanganate reduction: 8 H+ + MnO4− + 5 e− → Mn2+ + 4 H2O
    Nitrite oxidation: NO2- + H2O → NO3- + 2H+ + 2e-

    This should give you the ratio of nitrite ions that react with the permanganate.
