Actually, it may well have to do with racism. When George Zimmerman first radioed in, and gave Trayvon's description, he did emphasize the fact that he was a "young black male" more than once, and certainly more than was necessary. There may be an element of truth that supports many people's decision to pulling out the "racism card" on George Zimmerman, but again the bigger picture remains that this guy needs to have his motives and actions assessed through a trial and a public and transparent one at that and he should not be effectively immune from prosecution.

nah just from experience with police after racist attacks etc. Also in statistics showing higher levels of violent racism against whites, the lack of collectivism when a white working class person is killed by the state, the general attitude of society and interestingly liberals to white working class issues, which is to sneer and mock.
