Im not the greatest lover of Carrick + Giggs midfield. Welbeck may not start as SAF wasn't happy with him last game, depends how QPR will play, quite attacking i imagine so Hernandez may prove useful. Nani should be back so hopefully we see him coming in for last half hour or something, be good to have him back and hopefully on form.

QPR dont have the best away record, and can go from losing to Bolton to Winning against Arsenal so its a potential banana skin. Hopefully there are no surprises in the line-up and if not then i see a fairly comfortable win.

Yeah, it's not my prediction - just grabbed it from SSN. I'd rather Scholes & Berbatov in for Giggs and Welbeck.

Looking forward to the match. Predicting 3-0 to us with Rooney scoring two and Valencia grabbing one.

Man Utd: De Gea, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Scholes, Carrick, Young, Rooney, Welbeck.
Subs: Amos, Jones, Giggs, Park, Hernandez, Cleverley, Pogba.

QPR: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Diakite, Derry, Mackie, Taarabt, Buzsaky, Bothroyd.
Subs: Cerny, Gabbidon, Campbell, Young, Smith, Wright-Phillips, Zamora.

Good lineup for us. No Nani on the bench which is kinda strange.. but oh well, still a good strong 11.

Nice strong team, should have control of the game early on. Hopefully we can bring on Pogba and/or Cleverley during the match to get some experience.

No Barton or Zamora? Is Hughes throwing this from the start? The QPR strikeforce has 7 goals this season between them.

I would hope we win this, and keep a clean sheet, that's our ideal first 11 on form.

Really should be an opportunity to better our GD, they're a very poor side, beat Arsenal because of two lapses by Vermaelen and I don't know how they beat Liverpool, that looked over. Hughes' sides always play very well against us...but I don't think there is enough quality in this one.

Young + Valencia partnering up on the same wing, nice :holmes:

QPR looks desperate to slow the game down a bit. Welbeck and Rooney need to link up with Young and Valencia a bit more.

    Surely that was offside first?

Bad decision. Video ref needed. Still, can't complain about a goal.

Dont think it should have been a red.

Not sure if the fact it would (should) have been offside matters in calls like that. For example even if it was a definite red, because its offside, do they still get a red? Either way, very harsh.

One of the worst decisions overall I've ever seen. Not a red card even if it was a foul, complete dive by Young, and offside as well. Wow.

Seriously harsh on QPR. Offside, a dive and then a red.

Ignoring the offside (which should have been given) it was definitely a peno, but not a red (but I think the red was given because he was the last man). Overall a bad decision.
