Re: Ask the coalitionNever thought of it like that before but it would be an honour....(Original post by toronto353)
Just think, you could lead the Conservatives on here in the future and become TSR's Margaret Thatcher.

You know that you guys are inferring that the present PM is either Alec Douglas-Home or Edward Heath - not exactly two Tory idols!

Re: Ask the coalition
I actually liked Major, had he not being completely overshadowed by Thatcher before him then i think that history would have looked upon him very nicely.
Honestly not sure which politician i am like. I'm very far right economically, support foreign intervention and keeping trident but also support electoral reform and the EU and am generally liberal.
As for the future party leaders, you can all wait at least a year as i intend to remain in charge until June or September 2013 (will either do a sandwich year or start third year). -
Re: Ask the coalitionThe Government is working with the Speaker with regards to this second question.(Original post by Morgsie)
Why isn't the Secretary of State for Constitutional Reform chairing the Cross-Party Committee on a TSR version of the House of Lords?
Where will this Committee meet?
With regards to the first question, since Lipvig raised the issue, it was felt that Lipvig should chair the Committee. The entire Government has complete confidence that Lipvig will be able to fulfill his duties as chairman of this Committee and this Committee will also allow the SOS to focus on his widescale reforms while the Committee examines this one specific reform. -

Because it was Lipvig who proposed the idea and i want him to chair it.
Thank you for your responses.
Will the Secretary of State for Constitutional Reform be kept informed about these meetings? -
Re: Ask the coalitionThe SOS will be informed of each and every meeting of the Committee as well as receiving each and every report produced.(Original post by Morgsie)
