I was just getting ready to type 'Wow - I'm proud of TSR that everyone ignored the grammar mistake in the thread title'.(Original post by Eunuch)

ripped in American Psycho;
emancipated in The Machinist ;
bulky in Batman and the whatever came in between. Also, if you've seen him in The Fighter recently he went really skinny again before bulking for Batman.
Anyone with that much discipline and motivation for their craft is truly an inspiration. -

yeh thanks Im a big fan of Kurosawa so may have jammed Takashi shimura in there too.
ive seen Miyamoto Musashi which was excellent, which is an Inagaki film i think -

Harsh Times, another great Bale film but one that is seriously underrated. Also The Prestige, another great Bale film.
