Re: TSR Motion and Bill Challenge
The results for week 11-12 of the Motion and Bill Challenge are below.
Week 13-14: 2nd - 15th July inclusive
TSR Government.............3 points - 1 bill, 1 motion
TSR Labour Party............0 points - 0 bills, 0 motions
TSR Liberal Democrats.....0 points - 0 bills, 0 motions
TSR Libertarian:..............0 points - 0 bills, 0 motions
TSR Socialist...................0 points - 0 bills, 0 motions
barnetlad.......................0 points - 0 bills, 2 joke motions
Congrats to JPKC for writing a bill and to the Government for winning the first two weeks. The other parties have some catching up to do, with no new submissions!
It's been a pretty quiet in terms of new submissions lately, though second readings and petitions have kept us busy. They won't sustain us throughout the rest of the month however, so keep the bills and motions coming in. Have a brainstorm and see if there's anything you can come up with. Remember that if each party could submit a motion or bill a week, the HoC would be heaving with activity! A little effort from each party makes a massive difference to the Model House of Commons. -

Re: TSR Motion and Bill ChallengeHear hear - well done them. I'm sure Labour will be on more form soon.(Original post by Rakas21)
Additionally i have been looking through the stats from the beginning of term and i have to give a big commendation to the Liberal Democrats who per MP have been by far the most productive. -

Re: TSR Motion and Bill ChallengeYour certainly the most productive (just over 4 points per MP to the governments 2.x) however you are 15 points behind to Sunday compared to the leading government (you may be able to usurp Labour for second).(Original post by Birchington)
Thanks! Hopefully we can win the 'Most Active Party' gold medal at the end of the parliament. -

Congrats to the Government for winning the month!
The last two weeks were busier than the first two which is encouraging and I'm glad to see (almost) every party submitting something. As Rakas has mentioned in another thread, we are just a few bills off this session becoming the most productive ever and that is a credit to you all. I do hope this continues throughout August and the rest of this session and I hope that my successor will continue to keep you updated on your progress with hopefully more regularity than myself!
As I always say, a little effort from each party makes a huge difference to the Model House of Commons! -

Re: TSR Motion and Bill ChallengeAye, across the whole term we are still about 10 points ahead, this month has seen the Libertarians take over the Socialists however.(Original post by Moleman1996)
Good to see government churning out a steady flow of bills all term -
Re: TSR Motion and Bill Challengeyeah, we didnt do what people expected and dramatically slow down immediately after the election, most active government i've seen since joining in terms of bills and motions(Original post by Rakas21)
Aye, across the whole term we are still about 10 points ahead. -
Re: TSR Motion and Bill ChallengeAs a government we have the most active by quite some way, the whole house however needs only 1 more bill for the most active parliament on record (68 bills for 9th parliament and this one).(Original post by Moleman1996)
yeah, we didnt do what people expected and dramatically slow down immediately after the election, most active government i've seen since joining in terms of bills and motions -
Re: TSR Motion and Bill Challenge
It's good that Labour got the highest points, but that's not what really matters. What matters is that activity is up pretty much across the board, which is great. It'd be no use if one party was winning it every month with the other miles behind, would it? Well done to the Tories this term for having a good, active government.

Re: TSR Motion and Bill ChallengeIndeed, you have also likely cemented second over the term as bar the Lib Dems being amazingly active.(Original post by davidmarsh01)
