As you can see we have a new Bill out tonight along with a third reading. I'm hoping to work on some more stuff in the MUN shortly to bring before the House (though that won't be counted in the statistics) and there's more to come. A lot of people have exams though so really I don't think that you can argue this point too much because obviously activity dips around exams.
We're talking about the results here, not what you're doing now. Not good enough frankly.

It's exam season so don't act like you're completely unaware of that and that it leads to a decrease in the amount of activity. You're not an idiot so don't act like one.

Hasn't decreased the activity in Labour as much as it has in a coalition of two separate parties so I fail to see how that argument is valid.

Perhaps the coalition parties care more about good exam results than TSR Labour does.

(All in seriousness there is stuff planned including a budget which is obviously a lot of work and which will hopefully be coming out in June or July. Obviously I'll be working to bring a few more treaties before the House and my colleagues are working hard. It's a small dip, but let's be honest it's not as bad as last term).

How are you guys going to do this budget? In RL the chancellor presents his plans to the House and then, a few weeks after, the annual finance bill is pushed through by the government. Obviously it won't be as simple here as you'll need a majority to get anything passed. Realistically, I doubt this'll happen because of how the House is at the moment, with relatively leftish libertarians kicking about. You might have to call an early election without having done anything substantial...

JPKC I always enjoy your speculation and intrigue.

Obviously we're going to have to listen to this House with regards to the budget, but we will be presenting our ideas and go from there really. You never know how something will go down until you put the ideas out there.

I understand the exam season pressure we all have, but I think sending a bill to vote wouldn't be too much of your time or anyone else's? Or even writing a decent motion?

Some people have different opinions on motions. Obviously this doesn't take into account the work that I'm doing in the MUN for example about which you can make your own judgement and the work towards Bills and the budget.

To be fair to Toronto he is also doing a lot of work in MUN (which unfortunately has limited activity at the moment). The setting up of the EU bloc was a great achievement, and should be regarded as such.

I agree - I do see lots of stuff going on in the MUN but haven't been involved as I don't represent an EU country.

I'm sure some of your other SoSs can write bills though?

I agree, but he needs to make sure that he shares his work load evenly...

They can and some have as you can see. Exams has obviously accounted for this fall.

Expand. Not sure quite what you mean by this.

Basically, you need to make sure that you do the same amount of work in the MHoC as you do in the MUN otherwise we're seeing advantages of this in one area and disadvantages in the other.

Why is Toronto being called into question? He is fantastic in his role and is doing a really good job compared to some other members.

Apart from issuing statements and actually presenting treaties, there's not a lot that I can do in the MHoC with my role. I've made that clear in my report. I hope that you haven't got that impression from my work so far.

Congrats to the Government for winning the week and the month and congrats to the Socialists for tieing the week!

The results will be reset for next week and JPKC will no longer be included separately as he has joined the Socialists. (Unless he wants to be included!)

I suspect it is just a natural lull due to exams, so most parties should pick up. From the governments position i have just completed a kind of policy review (basically coming up with as many bill ideas as i could think of for most departments) so as the government discuses these there should be a mass of bills hitting the house very soon.

A big congratulations to the Socialists for awakening from their slumber and coming second! They also seem to have picked up new members with Jpkc and Adorno both becoming official members.

So mass privatisations on the cards are they? What's sandwich-filler man going to do when he's finished kicking immigrants?

Yes, the Great Bear has started to awaken from its long winter. I'm pretty positive on rejuvenating the socialists as a political force in the House. Watch out old Macheath is back.

I have been feeling this for a while, that my lot are third most active Party and yet election results do not reflect this. Why is this?

We have a big stuff in the pipeline which requires more research and those being typed up as Bills. We have also been hit by people taking their exams and once the exams are over we should becoming more active.

I am a planning a major reshuffle which won't be done in one swoop, I will doing it bit by bit.
