Try Co-op young drivers insurance.
It will be a lot cheaper than what you are currently being quoted.

About motability, my mom already has a car and her carer drives it whenever she can, but lately she's been unavailable and I spoke to motab and they won't let me drive the car because it has over 115BHP. I think it has like 125 or something. >_>

Ohh I'm sure you can drive it... What car??
I can't bloody find a decent insurance brooker in london.
One made me lol a couple hours ago, he basically typed my details into comparison sites and got similar £7,ooo quotes i would usually get.
I was expecting him to take more details about me to get cheaper quote :frown:

Vauxhall Insignia SRi Estate 2.0CDTI. 130HP.

I'm pretty sure only a really nice cop would only let me off if I was driving the car in a super emergency.. like my mom being super ill and needing to get to the hospital/doctor asap.. might give me a fine or some sort and get the police to escort my mom to hospital or something.. idk. That's not what matters.

I need a fricking car, anything with 4 wheels.

I feel you. I really do. I'm tired of this crap, would it be cheaper if I lived in Luton or something?

Naa I doubt the cops will let you off, they probably take the car off you and impound it. Ohh I checked motab and they supply the same car, they don't show the terms for being a driver for that vehicle. And like 5bhp is gonna give a huge boost. If you convince them as it being a necessity which it is then I wouldn't know why they create an issue for just 5 horsepower
