Re: AQA English Literature Unit 1H help
Hi, I am doing this exam. You actually don't have to compare the short stories. Well if I recommend the following notes as it tells you what you have to put in each question in relation with the language, form, structure etc.

Re: AQA English Literature Unit 1H helpFor the Of Mice and Men part, I'd say maybe 1 1/2 - 2 pages for the first question, same for the second. For the Inspector Calls part, I wrote about 4 pages in the mock exam.(Original post by yoyox120)
I'm in a similar situation here, but I do An inspector Calls and Of mice and men. My question is how much are you expected to write, bearing in mind it is only 1 hour 30 minutes long ? -
Re: AQA English Literature Unit 1H helpSO about 7 to 8 pages, but my handwriting is tiny :P so for me that would be too much :L(Original post by paperclip345)

Re: AQA English Literature Unit 1H helpYeah it depends on each person. In exams I write really big because I'm rushing so much(Original post by yoyox120)

Feel sorry for the examiners marking my papers sometimes haha. I think it doesn't matter how much you write, as long as it is of good quality

Our teacher said that 'you dont exactly have to finish the paper as long as you give 3/4 good points ; in a peel structure '*
Would you agree ?
Yeah I suppose, peel structure ? never heard of that one. I just tend to write points that allow me to then connect them to other points so its fluent but that gets harder the more you write cos you start running out of points.
