My purse was stolen yesterday evening containing my bank card (I've cancelled it), house key (my parents are going to change the locks), some money and my Provisional License. I phoned the police, and they've logged it as 'lost' because I didn't see it taken out of my bag which is stupid. Basically it sounded like there would be a LOT of admin stuff to do if they put it as stolen so I think they were trying to get out of it.

Anyway I've ordered a new license, however should I report the other one as stolen and to who? Is there some kind of fraud department or something? Thanks!

theres nothing you can do except for what you already have done.. only the police/dvla can be told..
