check out uni requirements to see which subject would best suit the courses taht you might apply for -eg UCL medicine doesn't allow maths and further maths as two subjects: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/undergraduate-degrees/medical-school/medicine/index.shtml

i can't wait to see troy when it comes out!

I'm told that AS Latin has no roman life- that's the part I've hated at GCSE- but it seems to fit with my strengths in the subject (translation, lit.), that's why I thought to do it.

As for the others- Chem., Bio., Maths! I want to do medicine, and figured latin gave my choices balance. The other option is physics...

if you want a good chance of getting into medcine, those are the four most important/appropriate topics you can do or so im told. depends on where you want to specialise.

no, three medcine based (bio chem and maths) are fine. chem is essential pretty much anywhere. physics is obviously the least medcine orientated. i know of medical students that were required to take a course in latin before they could specialise, so looks like you are on track!
NOOOOOOOOOO TO LATIN! BOOOHOOO

btw mjg...was your E in Latin undeclared? because no offence i cant imagine anyone going to Oxford or LSE with an E!

Thank you for that. Do you know what they specialised in, or how latin relates to medicine?
