Hey, no worries it's fine - internet connections suck haha
I know, I don't understand when Freshers week is or anything; I really want to know! That's the same with me, they e-mailed me saying I'd get my log in details in June but I haven't heard anything yet so still waiting ...

It's not overwhelming but for the best possible understanding and marks when you're doing essays it's advised to do alot more than they ask of you.
Yes they do give you a reading list for all the books you will need for the whole course. You'll need the books they list in the foundation section, don't get this confused with your ability level it just means first year material..alot of people got confused by this when we started

I did wonder about a reading list actually, good to know. Any other sprites about the course we should know about? How many hours face to face teaching did you get in your first year? Every university I've visited had low teaching hours for English, I was curious whether what they said during the open days was true.

Re: English Language at Hudd September 2012?Wow that doesn't seem a lot at all but I suppose it's all about the independent study. I'm dreading the first week; meeting all the new people, lecturers and people at Storthes haha.(Original post by Safx)
