I get wht you're saying.
BUT. The fact of the matter still is, that Blacks are seen nothing better than an animal. That is something I have heard from my paki friend, they aunties and uncles who don't even live in Pakistan. THIS is something I'm not able to comprehend.
WHAT HAPPENED for them to look at Blacks with such a negative perspective? That's why I was asking if there is some historical aspect to this.
If you tell a Pakistani, you're living with a Black person, they FREAK OUT!! As if you're unsafe or something. This type of mentality certainly cannot be good for your people, right?
to be entirely fair to pakistanis, there are white people who think like that too -
Re: The first thing that comess in u'r mind when you hear the word pakistan?Yep it's gotta be cricket. Certainly nothing to do with the Pakistani government funding them or the profits from street crime, and definitely nothing to do with the copious amounts of heroin they grow - that stuff has literally no value anywhere(Original post by Indo-Chinese Food)
ok mate, but ask yourself this, how does pakistani taleban get funded....
As to the actual question I'm afraid nothing particularly positive. Violence, corruption, terrorism, Taliban, instability, nukes to name a few. Sorry but just being honest. -
Re: The first thing that comess in u'r mind when you hear the word pakistan?Weren't you the African nationalist? Hm. Okay then.(Original post by Akinfenwa)
I generally think of Child grooming, Terrorism, Benefits cheats, Aggression, Gangs, Muslims, Forced marriage, Violence, Hate, Assaults, and Arrogance.
But I'm sure its not you guys, it must just be the media....

I also think of Pakistanis as being an extremely proud people, which is surprising as Pakistan has achieved very little. Even more surprising when you realise none of them want to live there. -

Cricket
The food - how I love going into a dingy little cafe and eating chaat and having a bottle or eating an egg burger from a street seller
The sorry state of politics and the heartbreaking news you see daily on the Pakistani news channels.

Re: The first thing that comess in u'r mind when you hear the word pakistan? You obviously do not understand what I said whatsoever if you're still making the same point without realising that such sentiments are not specific to JUST Pakistanis! I admit that many do think like that but quit it with trying to make out that it's just them and that they're the only, or at least main, cause of abuse to black people.(Original post by 99luft Balons)
