    Starting HE in September
    Hello,

I'm not entirely sure on where to put this thread, so I'm putting it here in Student Life. I'll move it somewhere else if I'm in the wrong part of the forum.

Okay, I got a conditional acceptance letter to Bishop Burton College and I will be attending in September hopefully. So I've got lots of questions to ask since I'm now getting closer to completely my A-Level exams.

    So here I go...

Is there anyone who is going to Bishop Burton to study Equine Business Management?

    First Day
    - How does the first day usually work out?
    - Do you have an induction first?
    - Do you go the accomodations first?
    - Is there anything that I should know?

    Going to classes
    - Do you have a code in what to wear ie - smart/casual/jodpurs?
    - Is there some schedule in knowing what to wear ie - indoor or outdoor?

This is mainly towards current students
    - Are there any chances to excercise horses?
    - When do you get to work in the stables?
    - Are there any chances to get stable jobs nearby?
    - Do you have to be experienced with horses ie - nutrition and health?

    Thankyou

And if you are starting this September, please get in contact so that then I'm not all alone when we start :P

Have you gone to one of the HE open days? They told me everything I needed to know about starting there in September.

I believe you will be sent information on when you can move into your accommodation and what's happening and when

as to dress code I'm afraid I cannot help, I'm taking Bioscience and so have to wear a lab coat.
however I believe you will be told everything you could need to know regarding dress code etc when you get your timetable.
