Re: Ski trip recovery - How to cope with being back to reality? This was the first one, but they do plan to make it a recurring thing. And judging by the interest it got, it will be.(Original post by Lumos)
hi there, I didn't go on the trip, but it looks like it was amazing! I was wondering if this is something TSR does every year and, if so, if there are any requirements to going on the trip? (e.g. age, ski/snowboarding ability) thanks!
You have to be over 18, or be 17 and have a parent/guardian sign off and say your friends are responsible for you. No requirement on ability, you can choose to buy lessons as part of your ticket. -

Re: Ski trip recovery - How to cope with being back to reality?
This ski trip has ruined me! You guys who met me probably wont believe it but before the trip I wasn't a big drinker & would perhaps only go out on a night time maybe twice a month.. Since the trip I've done nothing but get hammered in the town every other night haha. Last night out tonight tho and then I think I'll recoup (says the man who decided he would never drink again last night). .. [insert smiley vomiting here]

Re: Ski trip recovery - How to cope with being back to reality? You will have to show them the way forward! Drinking can be fun, it doesn't necessarily have to lead to amnesia and waking up with strange objects/people in your bed(Original post by Fraine)

Maybe just take them to the pub or cocktail bar first or play card drinking games with them?

Re: Ski trip recovery - How to cope with being back to reality?Haha yeah, probably should try and start with a drink at the local after exams at least(Original post by RowingGoose)

or maybe just get them to come on the ski trip next year and it might have the same effect on them as it had on me

I was miserable the first two days back, and swore I'd never drink again following Wednesday's failure
(which I totally blame everyone else for, obviously)
Buuuuut since then I've pretty much wanted to go out every night
and I've not been at work so I've spent all week reminiscing
Someone come out with me please?

Re: Ski trip recovery - How to cope with being back to reality?oh god, that night was crazy(Original post by united.spammers)
Every time I hear Titanium by David Guetta I get flashbacks of dancing on tables. It's been over a week and I'm still missing it! -
Re: Ski trip recovery - How to cope with being back to reality? You're too far away to hear my protests

So many tracks remind me of pre-drinks and igloo. I'm dreading next time I go out, it's gona seem so ****(Original post by united.spammers)

If people are skint, there's a Ski Alpine survey if anyone wants to possibly win £100

Re: Ski trip recovery - How to cope with being back to reality?I'm pretty sure we have some covered in red wine while doing the rum dentist chair but I'm guessing you weren't looking for that kind of thing(Original post by K)
