Re: Obsession with boobsThey're not promoted as the "ultimate sexual bit", they're just viewed as taboo because they're so often covered up. The more a part of the body is hidden, the more sexual it is.
Some of it is men trying assert their manliness, but boobs are far from the only thing we care about. The main thing for me is the face. I have to admit, though, I am kind of an arse man myself.

Re: Obsession with boobsI see where you're coming from as boobs aren't really a significant sign of fertility, as all mature women produce the same amount of milk, the difference is due to fat. So all I guess they really show is a sign of maturity.
And maybe they make the waist seem smaller... -

Re: Obsession with boobsI don't get why you're moaning about this, some guys prefer different things whether that would be boobs, arse, legs, face, thighs, feet etc. So why would it be your business? Why do you care about other men's preferences?
And its entirely impossible for a guy to prefer more than one of these features at a time. You make it seem like if a guy prefers big boobs he wouldn't acknowledge a nice figure when he sees one unless they possess a big rack, again not true.
The turn on breasts create is biologically innate not some societal propoganda.
Also next time when you want to troll on here pretending you're female, at least think first before making threads like this, you're just asking to be negged.
What pleasure do you even gain from pretending to be female on here, apart from the troll-istic ones? -

Re: Obsession with boobsWe all know the interest for boobs is biological.. But today, in the Western world, the obsession with big boobs is huge. I think that's what the OP is talking about. It's seen as the be-all and end-all. If you're a B or less you need to undergo surgery, if a woman has her boobs out, it's enough to make her 'hot'. I'm not saying all men feel that way, but it's pretty much what the media is trying to tell us.

OP, maybe men like boobs because they are seen as a source of nourishment at an early age, and that thought sticks with us. However, that wouldn't explain why some women and gay guys get turned on by a fit man's chest and abs. Tbh, I have no idea. All I know is I love boobs, and I always have

Re: Obsession with boobsIf that was true then overweight women would be the most attractive women in our society, since the more fat you have as a female the bigger your boobs will be generally. People are obsessed with good bodies in general not just the bosom. If you look now at society, you'd see that the amount of surgery people are paying for now have radically increased. And it isn't just boob jobs, its liposuction, butt implants, botox, chemical peels, facelifts, rhinoplasty, body lifts and tummytucks etc.(Original post by Aconcernedparent)

The myth that guys prefer endlessly big breasts is the same as guys thinking girls prefer humongously large penises. If you go on a lads night out you'll know that breasts aren't the 'be all and end all'.Last edited by Ice Constricter; 10-04-2012 at 20:54.
