    Experimental Psychology
    hello everyone,
    im taking an experimental psychology course and i hope someone can help me because im lost.. first of all i need to know what is a theory article? how do i know the difference between a regular one and a theory one? do you know any websites that i can look into? second.. what is a RESEARCH article from a peer-reviewed psychological journal? i have to make a proposal from a psycholoy article and have no idea how to identify this articles...

    Hmm i've never heard of the distinction between a theory article and a research article, but I can make a guess.

    Some articles in journals pretty much give textbook-like introductions to a topic: http://www.bgsu.edu/departments/chem...color_2000.pdf

    (As you can see, its not describing a particular experiment).

    Other articles will mainly describe one experiment:
    http://journals.lww.com/melanomarese...genetic.1.aspx
    (just the abstract there)

    I think this is what they are getting at. Basically you've got to find out from your uni how to access journals, you probably have athens or something of the like. Im not 100% if this is the correct answer btw...
