No, you'll need to take the SAT aptitude test plus two or three subject tests

Also beware that you'll need very high scores as you'll need to get into a top school to get financial aid, and this will be even more difficult if you're a British citizen.

Only the very top schools offer full-need financial aid to international students - Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Dartmouth and Amherst. All of which are equally as competitive, if not more competitive, for admission than Oxbridge. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Dartmouth and Amherst all have acceptance rates between 5.9%-11.9%.

    Harvard - 5.9%
    Yale - 6.8%
    Princeton - 7.8%
    MIT - 8.9%
    Dartmouth - 9.4%
    Amherst - 11.9%
