    Mature student question?
I am going back to education as a mature student and have an offer to do sports rehab. I am going about getting a dual degree, im going down the route of doing sports rehab to achieve a 2:1 honors to enter pre reg physiotherapy.

My question is, to do pre reg physio will the unis only require the 2:1 as entry requirements or will they want English and maths a levels/ Irish leaving cert also?

Any other helpful advice would be greatly appreciated

In Ireland,no. Once you hit 23 that's it, you're not using grades. Lots of courses use psychometric testing instead and/or interviews. The same would hold true in the UK I would say, email admissions of whatever uni to check.

do you think then that irish unis wont even care about access course results?

No an access course would greatly help your application- your ability to do really well in the test/interview and as a talking point about your experience/willingness to do the course etc. I've heard that the midwifery test (has no interview) includes a section on your personal background etc. so an access course would really help. I doubt it's the only one.
