Can I reapply to a job if ive worked there before?
    Hi.
I worked briefly for tesco five years ago. Do you know if I can reapply or will it go against me that I left once? As the form asks if you have worked for them before? Anyone had problems?

unless you were fired or let go for whatever untoward reason see no reason why not, they might even prefer it as youd have already undergone training etc and know how it all works?

It depends on the reason for leaving, if it was just because you had to focus on studies/found somewhere else it'll be fine, but if there was something wrong with relationships at work/your actual work you're less likely to get it...no harm in applying though

On the contrary, it should improve your chances since you can show you have experience working for them, unlike other, 'fresh' applicants.

I think most places like to hire people back again, assuming that you didn't get fired or did anything really bad! It saves them time and money by taking someone back who's already trained. Best of luck.

I got a job at tesco 2 years ago, went to the training then got more hours at the job I was already at so turned down the tesco job. Just reapplied and I have an interview, there was nothing on the application form to say you'd worked there before so I doubt it.

I've worked for Sainbury's three times. My current Sainsbury's don't know that I use to work for them before. The second time I worked for Sainsburys they knew and weren't bothered. You don't have to mention it and even if you do why would they hold it against you ?
