The Result of Revision Induced Cabin Fever
I'm sort of going a little bit insane doing revision, I think i'm getting cabin fever.

To try and break up the monotony i gave writing a poem a crack, which i've never done before. It's not very good, but i've never tried anything like this before.

    There's grades to be got
    for dreams to be met
    so stay out the sun
    and hold out on fun
    wait for the summer
    when it's nice and hot
Just rest you work weary head
and that day has been done
    It'll all be much funner
with this weight off your back

    Fear? Apprehension?
No you'd of done the exams.
    What's there to fear?

    Results?
Well you'd of done the exams
Surely it's all done and done
    time for sun and fun.

But if you've put in the work?
    it's all there. You're laughing.

What do you mean you procrastinate by writing conceited ****?
Without rhyme, or rhythm, or metre, or subtext, or metaphor.
But you do maths, and biology? What's the point of that?

    Because you know no better?
    Well that's a non sequitur

    You're calling me pretentious?
You're the one writing self-referential poetry.
