If UCAS says that, it's not necessarily right-in fact in this case it seems to be wrong http://www.mmu.ac.uk/about/termdates/

Re: What to do if your course begins before halls open? This, quite often UCAS will state the first of whatever month your course starts on. I'm fairly certain Manchester's term doesn't start until the 17th September this year.(Original post by jameswhughes)

Re: What to do if your course begins before halls open?ucas just puts the 1st september as a starting date by default and most unis dont bother changing it, the correct starting date will be on the man met website(Original post by PinkiePie)
I'm starting a Geography course in Manchester Met Uni on the 1st of September but all the halls that I have looked at don't open until after the starting date
does anyone have any ideas what I should do? :P
Thanks
