Revision guide for a* english gcse?
I'm doing English Language and English Literature with OCR.

I wanted to know if there are any revision guides that specifically target exam technique and essay writing for a*? Either online/book form.

I was looking at York Notes study guides - how good are they?

Can't say for OCR but last year i did AQA and got an A*. I was VERY lucky as i'd handed in and got assessed the EXACT questions that were on the exams just days before each exam even though i'd made the questions up on the spot. Really all you can do is practice endless essays and learn the poems, there's only a finite number of questions they can ask you on each subject, exhaust them and learn the answers and you'll get it.
