What's the worst film you've ever seen?
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Re: What's the worst film you've ever seen?I love Cracked. I kind of want to have seen it without seeing it, if you get my meaning.(Original post by Skaði)
I originally heard about it on Cracked. For the entire article I thought they were just taking the piss out of a made-up movie, and then I looked it up on Wikipedia and discovered it existed and bam! My jaw hit the floor.
(I still want to see it

Re: What's the worst film you've ever seen?I found Saw itself to have much less gore than I expected, and actually a very interesting and original film. It was when the sequels started rolling in that the gore was upped and the stories weakened.(Original post by dudleyian)
Saw probably. I hated it and didn't get the point of gore and torture portrayed as entertainment.

Re: What's the worst film you've ever seen?Fair enough. Think it was the 5th or 6th I saw. It was grim!(Original post by tuesday91)

Re: What's the worst film you've ever seen?I agree...I didn't like that(Original post by velvetbrain)
I would have to say AVP: Requiem, it is complete garbage. Stupid people cashing in and exploiting big name franchises.
Is it the worst film....I don't think that
But I'm not a rapper -
Re: What's the worst film you've ever seen?
The Hive. Seriously, if you've never heard of this film, look it up. It's a completely serious film about somewhere that is getting taken over by army ants. It includes the line, spoken by an army leader, "We will not negotiate with ants!". Then, as if this isn't ridiculous enough, it turns out the ants have made tunnels that resemble a circuit board. and then, to further add to the stupid plot, at the very end after the ants have been defeated, this blue flashing light comes out of them and flies off into space...

Re: What's the worst film you've ever seen?
Battlefield Earth
..it is soooo bad that I would put money on it that if people saw this film they would immediately reconsider their choices for worst film ever seen.
Looks like I'm not alone:
http://www.metacritic.com/movie/batt...-the-year-3000
The New York Times:
'It may be a bit early to make such judgments, but Battlefield Earth may well turn out to be the worst movie of this century.'
Time:
'The worst movie in living memory'
Washington Post:
'A million monkeys with a million crayons would be hard-pressed in a million years to create anything as cretinous as Battlefield Earth.'Last edited by theepw; 24-06-2012 at 16:44. -

Jesus H. Christ.
By miles.
Mind you, the first half was alright, it had a really good idea of a genius kid who was super intelligent and could recall everything he'd ever seen/heard/read. Then it ended with naming a photo album after himself. Yay.
Why. Just why.
