Re: Is Religion the Cause of Most Wars?Well me and my bf have, and we're still alive.(Original post by Chloe xxx)
Yes but, we are online, I would never voice my views on Islam to a muslims face, I imagine it would be a different story face to face.
In Rochdale town centre once I saw a muslim man arguing with another and a muslim woman in full Arabian head gear, out his car. The man pulled him out the car, and started hitting him, the muslim woman then started beating him viciously with her walking stick! It was a mental sight.
I suppose these people arnt following their religion either.
No they weren't following their religion, not everything a Muslim does is for their religion you know. My mum ironed my dresses earlier, that wasn't done in the name of Islam was it? And I doubt this fight was either. And if it was, no it's not very Islamic to go around beating people up. -

Agreed
If religion didn't exist people would find another excuse to be violent towards one another, whether it be race, land, money, power etc.
Sad but definitely true observation. I personally believe that in Heaven, there will be no violence against any person for any reason. However, earth at the moment is definitely far from heavenly.
Peace and God bless you
