To anyone studying business at Notts
    Hi!
I'll be an exchange student studying at the university of nottingham this fall and I just have a simple question for people studying business about modules.
Is there a module that teaches you about writing in the business world? like writing memos, resumes, reports, proposal, etc.
In my current university, this is called professional writing.
The closest I could find in the module catalog was professional commercial writing but I was hoping that maybe someone could help me find a module that is closer to what I need.

    Thanks!

Well, thanks to anyone who took the time to read the post. Too bad no one could help but I found a way to take the class online through my university while I'll be studying at Nottingham.

So is anyone here going to study business and the university of Nottingham? To the people already studying business there, how is the program? Is it really challenging?

You're probably better off emailing the staff at the Business School, as their teaching staff will have the best idea.

(also not sure how many UoN Business School students frequent here!)

There isn't really a module like this so to speak of. But if you do the employer programme and go to the CV clinics and stuff like that, then you will get help this way. Also in the first semester, there are a series of half an hour to an hour talks on how to write things like essays and referencing and things like that.
