Fosters taste like piss. Stella is the best tasting beer out of the selection.
I wouldn't enjoy most of the above but the only one I couldn't drink without throwing up is guinness.
I find most beers to be rank. Prefer a lager or cider, preferably Magners.
Everyone seems to have a really different opinion.. I think carling is heinous whereas fosters is inoffensive and stella is nice.

Lager is a type of beer, is it not?

Fosters Gold is Australian for 'chic'
Fosters. If you drink enough it starts tasting a bit like sick
Watneys should have been in the poll, for all those who have seen Monty Python repeats.
I'll drink pretty much any of the cheap lagers, but the one I cannot abide is Coors Light. There's a reason it's always served ridiculously cold, and that is to spare you its awful taste. At least Carlsberg and Fosters have the redeeming quality of being cheap, Coors Light just has nothing going for it.

I assume in this scenario, enough is one sip?

The stuff is vile, although of those listed I can only really tolerate Guinness (provided it's not served cold. Why do people insist on serving beers cold rather than cool?)

Truely the worst beer I have ever tasted was Sainsbury's own Lager at 11p a can.
But I voted Carling.

Guinness is lovely!
But on a sunny day nothing beats a cold Miller. Mmmm

Guinness is the best drink to have when sitting in a pub and socialising:coma:

I saw someone negged you, so I possed you for mentioning the best drink in the world:woo:

I voted Carling - can't stand it.

On the other hand, Becks would be my favourite.

Most bad beers are just incredibly flavourless. Out of the list, most of them aren't offensively bad, but Coors Light is probably the worst I've ever had (unless you include things like Biere Speciale, but I hardly count things where the cap is a screw top as beer).
Tricky. You said 'in the UK'. Now while Coors Light is arguably the worst 'beer' on the list, thankfully it's very rare in the UK.

I went for carling. It's one of two beers that, despite being fresh and 'proper' I could not finish a pint of.

Not sure why Greene King IPA is there, it's not THAT bad. A bit bland but certainly nowhere near the unpleasant cat piss notes of carslberg or the vomit flavour of carling.
You haven't tasted awful beer till you've tasted Tesco Value Lager...2% CANNED FURY right there.

I don't think its possible to be a fan of beer and not be aghast at the work of AB-Inbev over the last 10 years.

They almost pride themselves in how bad their beer is. They put rice in it despite the fact beer has never had rice in it, because it is cheaper.

I know its not that bad but for a lot of people it represents the insidious commercialisation and assimilation of the real ale market into mainstream macrobrewing, kinda like a wolf in sheeps clothing. The fact that its often the only cask ale available in most pubs makes (some) people exclaim "is this really what we've been campaigning for all these years? One desultry insult of a boring brown beer?"
