Re: 2012 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix
I really like the Chinese circuit. Turn 1 provides a lot of excitement at the start of the race with drivers taking the long way round to get the advantage in to turn 3. Turns 7 + 8 provide the most thrilling spectacle in terms of change of direction at high speed. Turn 12 is a nice corner, starting tight and unwinding in to the long back straight. Heavy braking and DRS means we should get some good action in to turn 14. Brindle doesn't count 15 as a corner, quite frankly, neither do I!

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix
Apparently the protest result will be released this evening. And it's nearly 7pm in China.
And Merc can keep it. Bah.

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Chinese Grand PrixI'm just bitter because the decisions never go our way. FIA tell us for nigh on a year that our 'innovation' is legal and then change their minds before the start of the year, but don't change their minds about Mercs even when there's a formal protest about it. Bah hambug!

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Chinese Grand PrixTrue that. I can understand why you'd be annoyed. TBH, I was annoyed that got banned too. I'm all for one team having an innovation over the rest of the grid. Once it gets copied and really exploited, then ban it I say.(Original post by Lib)
