AQA GCSE physics P1 unofficial mark scheme 05-05-2016

Hey, I finished my gcse's quite some time ago and i was disappointed with my English language grade, as I only achieved a C grade. I'm very strong in my maths and science subjects as i achieved A grades those subjects in my gcses and my A levels. Now i applied for dentistry, which as you all know is a very competitive degree to apply for, and i was rejected because of my grade C in English. I've resat the English language exams 3 times now and I still cant get above a C grade. Please can someone give me any advice or recommend me any books to read to improve my English and my writing skills.

ps I dont really read a lot of fiction books.
