Re: Alternative political compass: What did you get?
Ecologist 100 (deep ecologist by its definition, but I wouldn't say it's my primary concern, guess I over-prioritised it on the bar), classical socialist 94, social democrat 94, anarcho-communist 89, social liberal 85. Then communist at 76.
I am such a hippy. -
Re: Alternative political compass: What did you get?Prior to this post, no you didn't mention how Kropotkin was a fascist.(Original post by prog2djent)
Ironically we would all be living like penguin grubs if anarcho-communism was forced upon us all, did I mention Kropotkin was a fascist?
Fascism involves a vanguard party designed to initiate a revolution from above and to organize the nation upon fascist principles.
Anarcho-communism involves the abolition of the state and replaces it with a horizontal network of voluntary associations.
Sounds like fascism to me -
Re: Alternative political compass: What did you get?

Re: Alternative political compass: What did you get?I'm being completely serious. 100% fascist, 97% libertarian conservative , and (I think) 80% ecologist(Original post by zedbrar)
Haha
What did you really get? Or are you being serious and you actually got 100% fascist?
Either way, your still my favourite fascist
You're still my favorite anarcho-communist

Re: Alternative political compass: What did you get? You're 80% ecologist and I am 95% ecologist. At least there exists something mutual between both of us(Original post by Paul McCartney)
I'm being completely serious. 100% fascist, 97% libertarian conservative , and (I think) 80% ecologist
You're still my favorite anarcho-communist

To avoid arguments we might have to spend our time discussing the environment >_>

Re: Alternative political compass: What did you get?
I found the test a bit annoying. As I was reading the statements it felt like I'm talking to a snob with his head up his own arse and didn't complete it.
But if I did, I'd probably get something within the lines of Social Liberal or something of the sort. -

Re: Alternative political compass: What did you get?Australia's labour party is like our Tory party, comparable to UKIP even.(Original post by Aeonstorm)
I got social democrat, which makes sense as I live in Australia, which has a relatively left-wing political system and generous amounts of welfare.
