CTR projects are pretty unique. Wish I was back there. It was a fun experience where I also got to use my skills in a real life situation. Would definitely recommend. I was attracted by the learning and working and interactive environment. Staff were more than awesome and was way worth it in my case. The projects have grown over the year but what I liked about them is that they keep their identity thats why I was on projects twice! Now working in media company with a contact thru ctr and also getting a chance to use my design, language and writing skills much more than before. I keep in touch with most of the team and wish I could do it all again. Sadly I am now too old. Glad I got the chance to take part.

Hi Aims, What are you doing in this forum? - get back to work! Just rememeber when we visted Potsdam and French Martyn got major sunburn! 'Mi skin izz too warm'. Come on our team must of been the best. We were too good! Sitting in language classes and working outside now seems so easy compared to my new dull life. :mad:The idea is worthwhile and was so diverse. I personally got to go deeper into another culture and learn some of the language. I guess I probably won’t go into travel writing but was definitely fun having the experience.

CTR CTR CTR – chanting this late in the evening. Think locals must have thought we were a little weird. Ctr I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now sitting in the smallest office on a Saturday with a window that should be illegal.

Think I said would never do this after the project. Good times. Wanna go again. When are they gonna finally open a Scandinavian project?

Why do you keep posting this same sentence in multiple threads?

guys; Yes working at ctr was the best thing I more or less did most of the summer. Probably learnt more in those weeks than 4 years in Uni. Stacking trollies at Tesco afterwards in August was mind numbingly boring. Summer went so fast. Remember them saying at the beginning but never really believed it. First week went extra slow. Never thought I would say I miss class now.

When are we finally meeting up in London and where on earth is Egmund now?

Egmund----who knows? yeah was good transition from Uni. Was nice to meet some like minded people and get the chance to do something a little from the norm. Was glad I signed up in the end

Just found this searchin for something completely different and this popped up? Brings back positive memories of my ctr days. Now after being in full time employment seems like light years ago. After the summer Bubble i got a short term job for 6 mths working in media via ctr which was nice and way better than my current post. Have fun to anyone on the projects this year!

Nice to find good ol ctr and to read through some of the positive experiences. I left uni a while back. Alas am no longer a student. Which means no more day time TV. I had an absolute marvellous time on the project and I like some of the others got my current position thanks to ctr. Seems like a long time ago now. Look forward to the reunion! I was one of the older ones on the project at the time but wouldn't say the project was just geared for students as their were quite a few people on the project that already had jobs or between jobs and was nice to have a mix of different nationalities. Have fun!

Diddo, After ctr I went into more language learning and now get to use my 2 foreign languages in my job. The summer was a good foundation to using a language in a practical situation and gaining some confidence. Now learning Danish. Sounds very weird.

ha! ha! Hi Linda, Sorry, I lost your email after the project. No idea where I put my sacred black ctr book with all contacts? Drop me an email or find me on fbook. Alex and I are planning on setting up a reunion towards end of this year. Cheers! Mister Maxell

Hello, I've been offered a place on the Berlin 1 month course in September. From all the info I've received it sounds good and I'd love to go to Berlin but I'm worried at the price, how much would people recommend to take with me?! Also, is anyone else going in September?!

I'd really love to do this but the dates clash with something else. Any similar projects out there ??
