How would you feel if you were conceived via an egg/sperm donor?
Would you feel your rights have been violated? feel a little uncomfortable? not care at all?
For me I would definately feel a bit uncomfortable as my real parent could of been an excellent role model but I probably won't even have a chance to find out

Re: How would you feel if you were conceived via an egg/sperm donor?Rights violated as in the right to be loved by your biological parents instead of say your father being some random sperm donor who couldn't care less about you.(Original post by Bellissima)
my rights violated?
if that were the case, i wouldn't have been alive otherwise... so i wouldn't care

A bit weird, if I'm being concise.
I don't think I would care because it doesnt really change anything but who knows... You never know until you're in that position.
As for the "right to be loved" complex, that really depends on how you're raisedLast edited by Vixen47; 13-04-2012 at 01:10. -

Agree with vixen47, weird initially.
I might be curious to know who the donor was but I think there are much more important qualities for a parent to have than being related to the child, so I don't think I'd be too bothered. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't consider the people who raised me to be any less my parents though. -
