What do YOU think happens after death?if you think nothing happens and you can't stop yourself from posting, can you just say "nothing" and leave without the lecture about body rotting,no god, no afterlife blah bllah blah, that's not what i'm interested in..
i'm curious what different people believe happens after you die... IF you believe something does happen?
can you explain... not just "yes, we go to heaven".. what do you think heaven is? how do you think it's constructed, what role does god play and do you get to meet him? are other people there?
if you believe in reincarnation, what do you think happens exactly?
or do you have another idea? -

when you were born you didn't exist and you never had existed... when you die we don't know what happens.. but you have existed.
there's a lot we don't know about the universe, about reality... -

You're basically broken down into small molecules, which are released into the atmosphere, which can then go on to make another organism, and the cycle continues. -

i honestly have no idea, i think something happens though... but at the end of the day, if nothing happens then it's not like i'm going to know about it.
maybe there is something bigger than our universe, maybe surrounding it, maybe separate to it... and maybe a part of us, what makes us us, is there.
maybe all of this is fake and we are just living a percieved reality and everything we know is false or only stands true in this universe....
or maybe there is nothing. -

I can't believe anything happens after death. I used to believe in a heaven or possible reincarnation with our spirit, but oddly as I've become more serious about religion, those beliefs have stopped and now I think death is the end. I think we just have this one life as a journey and I can't see the need for any more.
I could be wrong though - who knows. -

Re: What do YOU think happens after death?I personally find the notion of some variation of reincarnation quite intuitive and appealing. I wouldn't say that I think that it's necessarily going to happen, but I do entertain the possibility. When one considers the probably infinite vastness of the universe and the potential multitude of continuously branching parallel universes the concept doesn't seem so preposterous really.
