Just returned from Wembley. Delighted we won, but I'm so, so tired of poor refereeing decisions. There are so many things to appreciate/talk about today - Drogba's brilliant goal, Lampard's fantastic strike, some lovely football from both sides - but we know that all the discussion will be centred on referees and technology, and all the replays will show Mata's 'goal that wasn't' as opposed to goals of true quality. There's not even a debate to be had any more. Referees are average at best and incompetent at worst, and FIFA are a travesty for not allowing technology. It's also pitiful that referees can't give press conferences after games. They need to be held accountable just like players and managers are.

However, I still think Chelsea edged it. Bale had a few good runs at Ferreira, but we were extremely clinical.

Finally, I'm disgusted at our fans who ruined the minute's silence today. Disgraceful.
Agree on all counts. I wasn't there and I thought the score flattered Chelsea, but the old cliché of "not taking our chances" proved to be our undoing. We scored straight after the Mata incident so I feel that the argument that the incident was pivotal holds less weight. Drogba and Lampard's goals were awesome. Ramires and Malouda capitalised on some sloppy defending, which we failed to do when given the chance.

Should probably analyse the refereeing situation with a clear mind but right now what's frustrating me more personally is our form. The ref made an honest mistake today and it's not his fault Sepp Blatter is an utter cretin.

What does it take to observe a minute of silence. ****ing prats, Chelsea supporters apparently.

That was a pretty awful observance of the minute silence, dickheads.
If they didn't want to do the silence they should've stood under the stands until it ended and then took up their seat, I've seen that done before. That way it doesn't interfere with those who do want to observe it properly.

But it wasn't that they were talking or anything, it was that they were screaming their heads off with twattish chants. Complete and utter idiots.

Need to have the camera on the goal line so you can see the near post but not the far one.

If you look closely at it, you can see the shadow of the ball, clearly not in.
