At what age did you stop asking your parents

I stopped asking when I left home for university, I just kind of tell them where I'm going now and they're fine. I think I'd be able to go to a festival or on holiday with friends if I wanted to.

My parents have always been pretty laid back and I'm close to them. I do what I want, when I want, but not in a childish way. I have my own money, if i'm going anywhere far or going to be a while I'll let my parents know out of politeness. That's just courteous, but I wouldn't have to ask for permission for anything. I've just turned nineteen, I think I'm mature enough to handle most situations.
