    Internship in London Accommodation
I've just been offered a 3 month paid internship for a design studio in London, and I'm over the moon! Only now I'm worried about where I'm going to be living, and what my options are.

From doing a bit of research it looks like renting a studio flat somewhere in the short term is going to be out of the question on my budget (About £300 a week) - Also, it starts in a month, on May 14th so I may be too early for some of the 'Summer accommodation' that crops up.

Anybody got any advice? I'm studying at Lincoln at the moment so can't really commute, and the company I'll be working for is based in the Bayswater area in West London.

For summer accommodation try Uni of London halls accommodation. I know for a fact they rent them out for summer periods to high number of business/conventions or intern programs. Although mine was through a group, im sure you could still do it. Its also definitely best prices to location in london

Thanks for the advice, the internship starts in may though, which seems to be a bit too early for 'summer bookings' at most halls. Anybody know of anywhere that might open earlier

You could try staying in a hostel? They tend to do quite good rates for long-termers. You can either go for a private room, or if you go for a shared room then you'll probably be with other long-termers, which gives a great opportunity to make friends (I lived in a 4-share long-termer dorm whilst working two jobs, and it was absolutely fine).

Only thing is that I don't know how the Olympics will affect prices.
