Packing items you sell on Ebay?
I'm going to try and make some money on Ebay soon by buying wholesale. I have a slight enquiry about the delivery of these items though. For example, if I bought some wooden cutting boards for bread, and they came boxed. Would I have to find a larger box to delivery them in or would I go to the post office and they pack it for me etc...?

They wouldn't pack it for you, but if you took one down to the post office they will normally give you advice on the best way to pack it. They have lots of different sized boxes, I'm sure they would be able to find one that was the right size for your items. They would probably let you bulk buy the correct size as well, if you gave them enough notice of how many you want.

Post office only posts stuff. Depending on the size of the PO and if it's apart of a larger shop they might have some jiffy bags but probably not many big boxes.

If they're already boxed you might be able to just wrap them in paper although if it's only thin it could easily be ripped or ruined if it gets wet.

Surprising you've found that When I used to sell stuff on eBay I used to take it to the tiny post office round the corner, which was part of a shop, and they'd find the right size box I needed, or have it within a couple of days.

My nearest post office now is a big city centre one, where they have every type of box you could want, but it does take forever to actually get served when you have your box. I much prefer the tiny little one, they never let me down.
