Hey everyone! My names Rajesh I'm Hopefully going to do this course in 2012

Currently doing my A levels, I have 4 exams left, dreading Maths D: eughhh C4.. xD I decided not to do a Foundation because of the rising fees and Id rather just jump straight into uni.

Currently stressed about getting a decent art grade D: but hopefully everything will be fine. I already live in Leicester so I can show you round town and stuff when we meet each other and I've got to say Leicester's awesome! I'm gonna be living at home the first year and then try out the accommodation next year.

LAN Parties sound amazing Few games I've played are WoW xD ofc played that for 4-5 years quit midway into first year of college , Currently in love with Starcraft 2 watching alot of replays/matches on youtube ect <3, Amnesia the Dark Descent is amazing and scary! (CHAIR MODE ACTIVATED *BOOP*) I actually showed my custom map I made for it at the interview, well its like 2 rooms xD but yeh, I think Clarky Carrot and I will have alot to discuss about Amnesia xD
More games: Runescape before WoW, Deadspace 1&2, Darksiders, I've played a lot of the old school SNES games as i had the console (Megaman X FTW), abit of CoD, Minecraft ofc , old school Zelda games :> many more games which I cant remember

I also love Manga and Anime quite a bit so much that I'm writing my own manga ATM XD

I've always been a drifter on TSR, but when I saw this post I had to make an account after seeing how hyped up some of my potential classmates are

I'm a bit shy at start and sometimes don't know what to talk about xD but I'm sure it'll be good when everyone has settled down

Unfortunately I haven't ever been to a convention before but I really would love to if anyone is up for it =]

Now whilst i'm not an Anime/manga fan myself (minus Akira and Ghost In the Shell, freaking awesome films) I'm very happy that you guys are! In my experience, anime/manga fans are lovely lovely people, and I very much look forward to meeting you in September! Also, LAN parties would be awesome. I play a little Starcraft 2 but I'm no good at it. Amnesia is awesome and it's brilliant to see an indie title get so much recognition it deserves. I'm a big indie gamer, so that's my major interest, but obviously I'm a sucker for the odd AAA game too I'm also a huge Nintendo fan - E3 IN 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY GOODNESS!!!! I really can't wait. If we all make super-good friends with each other, we can live in a hyper-nerdy house next year where we have every kind of console and stroll around the house in constant cosplay, video game posters on all the walls with 8 bit music playing in the background.

Oh London Expo? I went to the one that just passed, it’s definitely one of the best and the biggest cons in the UK, I’d definitely recommend going, good luck getting to the October one, it’s definitely worth it, and it’d be awesome to cosplay as well I’m actually doing Howard haha I know I’m a girl but a lot of girls tend to cosplay male characters, and I’m very short so I thought Howard would be suitable because of that x3 And thanks very much

I’m very glad you think that Tom because it’s true that most anime/manga fans I’ve met at conventions are some of the friendliest open people I have ever met xD And you actually don’t know how amazing that idea sounds, that would be like, the best house in the world, no questions asked I’m really looking forward to meeting you in September as well

Aw don't worry about it, I was really non outgoing for many years until I started going to conventions xD But nerdy friends are always the best, I can tell we'll all have a lot to relate to and I'm sure we'll all get on really well when we get to start uni in just 4 months time, I'm really looking forward to it!

*blushes* Im rather nerdy apparently ( video games are nerdy?) Damn I can see where Ive been going wrong in my quest for cool-dem. Im also an indoor person.... on a lighter note though lack of sunlight has done wonders for my skin.

The "learning" on our course is very social (dont know if they tell you that). Alot of the stuff is learnt from each other, either that or go off and look it up. The labs is always very busy though so there is always someone around to help if you get stuck. oh and the game art facebook you have to sign up too, to post your work up. Saying that you can go and ask the tutors, I did, they pretty much expect that from first years.
