I'm trying to decide which Uni to make my first choice and Loughborough looks like a great uni, I loved it when I went to visit.

I'm black and I come from London which is a really diverse city and as Loughborough is a small town I was wondering how diverse it is and whether there are many African/Afro-Caribbean students. It's not a big deal, I was just wondering really.

Yeah theresa fair few black people here. Being from london too I can safely say its nowhere near as many, but there's a thriving ACS here.

Yeah I would say it is fairly mixed, there are plenty of black/asian students about throughout the uni and as a result the town too.

Not going to be as diverse as London or even the nearby Leicester, but you wont find yourself thinking 'wow, I'm the only black person here' or feel like the odd one out either.... I certainly haven't anyway.

Hey guys, how good is the ACS society at Loughborough with events and nights out? I'm Caymanian, so nights out with chart music and dubstep aren't reaaally my thing and that seems to be what theres most of here!

I'd actually say its really diverse. Though where Im from wouldn't exactly be classed as diverse.
