...what would you make it and why?

I'm not trying to be morbid or anything, but it would be interesting to hear what people would play as their funeral songs. Like a song that represents you, your personality, life etc.

    Personally, I'd pick this:

I just think this song would be bold enough for my personality but sort of sad enough/haunting for a funeral.

I waver between For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) by AC/DC to provide a nice background for the fireworks I want and Your Spirit to Me by Big Country because it says the things I think a good funeral song should.

The final countdown, providing Gob Bluth is doing some illusion at my funeral

Btw if you have no idea who Gob Bluth is watch Arrested Development now!

I like this topic, I want the la's 'There she goes.' It's a bit cheery for a funeral, but as they carried out my coffin it would be phenomenal.

Paradise City by Guns n Roses. Or Always Look on the Bright Side of Life by Monty Python.

"Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" sung by a parade of dancing Munchkins.

What do you mean "if..." :/ You CAN choose your funeral music bro.

For me, probably the original pokemon theme.

I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt...

And I will expect every one to dance around taking off their shirts.

Reminds me of a comedy routine I saw a while back, can't remember who it was, but they said "At my funeral, I want a chinese band, so they can sing Don't Stop Bereaving"

I know it's not a song, but something I hope that I am towards my family and friends which is passionate and inspirational. Therefore if possible I'd put Al pacino's speech of Inch by inch, demonstrating my aspirations and the type of person I hope to become when I am older.

MercyMe - I can only imagine = Dont know why, guess it would be a good funeral tune

I was thinking of something like Another one bites the dust by Queen, but I guess my family etc may not appreciate it XD

I had all my funeral music planned out at one point. Definitely going to feature Faure's Elegie for cello and 'The Circle of Life' from The Lion King

A Tout Le Monde by Megadeth
