You might want to compare sephardi and ashkenazi jews instead. They have pretty large cultural differences, just look them up.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews vs secular Jews. One group is full of religious extremist nutcases, the other group is full of rational genius' who have achieved more per capita than any other religious group.

Re: jews!!!!!some of them are rather worried about assimilation and 'marrying out', maybe you should say you want to be really good platonic friends with them just to stay on the safe side(Original post by peanuts7)

Re: jews!!!!!the question isnt really clear to be honest. but im going to go historical and follow the ashkenazi and sephardi Jews. thanks for the tips on what to look for(Original post by AdvanceAndVanquish)
Is this a historical essay or one that is supposed to cover the current situation? If it is historical, I would definitely go for the Ashkenazi/Sephardi contrast in the middle ages. You can look at everything from diet to major aspects of religious law such as the rules on polygamy.
