Piermario Morosini - RIP
Serie B player Piermario Morosini passed away today after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest on a football pitch...
'He first lost his both parents, then his younger brothers committed suicide. And today he passed away of a suspected cardiac arrest playing football. He was only 25 years old. There is no justice in this world.'
RIP fella. Very sad, the same as Muamba.Last edited by Jim-Jam; 14-04-2012 at 19:38. -
Re: Piermario Morosini - RIP
RIP. I thought the minutes silence at Old Trafford well respected, and the one in Madrid.
It makes you realise and appreciate how lucky Muamba was that the emergency services and medical staff came to his aid asap and probably saved his life with their responses. It appears, watching on SSN, that the ambulance was blocked and unable to come as quickly as it should have done.
Hope measures are put in place to make sure other players get instant help in situations like this. -

It is so sad seeing how badly he wanted to stay on his feet, how awful

Rules need to be made so that in these cases nobody but the medical staff is allowed on the pitch. All players should be told to leave straight away, the ambulance getting to him a second earlier could have been the difference between life and death.Last edited by pinda.college; 16-04-2012 at 11:34. -

Just read about his family, hard to believe that one family can have that much bad luck.
It's just awful =( -

Udinese will give Morosini's disabled sister continued emotional and financial support, with Di Natale taking guardianship over her.
Fantastic from both the club and Di Natale.
