    How can I look older?
I am 26 years old and in a managerial position in a company. The problem is that I find it difficult to be taken seriously because I look very young for my age. Most people guess that I am still in my teens. This didn't bother me while I was at university, but now it affects me a lot more.

I am able to wear what I like at work, and normally put on some dark trousers and a knitted top. I don't like wearing much makeup - just a bit of eyeliner if I have time. I wear my hair down.

What's a quick way to look older without rethinking my entire look/wardrobe?

Going on your pics, change your make-up and your hairstyle. Also, and I really do not mean any offence, lose a bit of weight/tone up. Your face is round and that is what makes you look young.

    You're really pretty!

To be honest I thought you looked at least 21 in one or two your pictures, but I guess if that's not the impression in real life, maybe wear your hair in a more business-like/professional style? Like pull it up instead of leaving it down? Other than that I'm not really sure, short of wearing more makeup (Not that I think you should)

Lol thanks! I didn't realise TSR had collected all the photos I had posted years ago and put them on my profile. Very weird!

damm now i'm intrigued as to what you look like

But you shouldn't worry so much, as long as you are dressing appropriately for you position I cant see the problem. You can't do anything about how old you look.

If you want to be taken seriously in business - suit smart, white shirts , dark colours and also depend's how you behave etc - wear glasses.

Unfortunately I am unable to see your pictures to give you constructive feedback but don't worry.

If you're light/fair skinned dye your hair darker! If you're tanned/dark skinned dye your hair lighter/highlights

Wear lipstick, even if it's a slightly darker colour than your natural lip colour it still gives a polished look. And maybe wear smart shirts.

Wearing more grown up clothes (longer skirts), usually pulling your hair back as well gives you a more serious look. Try more simple jewelry (if its bright and shiny- big no no).

    Hope this helps.

You say you're 26 and you want to look older

You know how many girls would ENVY you to have your looks.

At age 26, most girls, don't look their age. Though this is partly due to them having kids at early age I guess.

Enjoy your young looks! By the time your 40/50, you'd wish be younger looking.

At least you're not mistaken for 13 years old like I am. I'm 19 now and it's so annoying.

Imagine this, say when your 40 years old and you look and feel like 21.

    How does that sound?
