How long before you told someone you loved them in a relationship or felt as though you loved them?
and how long before you felt as though they loved you? how did you know and when did they say it?

Within a month of dating! Some people say that was quite early, but it just felt right, and haven't looked back since

It took me like.. 4 months to tell my boyfriend I loved him, he told me within 3 months but experiences taught me not to be a bit ... scared. So I thought about it, and whenever I was with him I felt like I loved him, got the balls and told him back Not with him now, but still wish i was, months later lol

hey when he told you he loved you and you didnt say it back what did you say exactly and was he offednded?

I explained to him that I find it hard to love people but give it time because my feelings were growing fast for him..

After 3months I fell in love with him and he with me - both pretty much pinpointed about the same time we felt it. And both then said 'I love you' at that time, no holding back We still say it quite a lot <3

Almost 4 months in. We were both a bit sleepy at the time but I said something about how some of my relatives had said it was weird that we hadn't been talking on the phone when we were apart over Christmas (despite sending ridiculously long texts to each other a few times a day) and that it couldn't be love because of that, and then I asked him if he thought it was and he said yes, and told me that he loved me. I was a bit relieved really because I'd felt the urge to say it for a couple of weeks before that point and was scared to because I didn't know what the response would be; it turned out he'd felt the same as well.

We still say it pretty often, and probably feel even stronger for each other now than when we did when we first said it.

It was a few months in - maybe 4 or 5? I'd felt like it for ages.

We were both too scared to say it though - in the end, he was being evasive, and I knew there was something he wasn't telling me, and it was then that I decided to jsut get it over with and said 'Okay, well I wanted to tell you something as well. I think I'm falling in love with you' and he said 'Yeah, thats what I was going to say to you, too. I love you'

So yeah. Quite sweet really

Only ever told mummy and friends I love them. Wouldn't dare tell a bf I'm too insecure to jump at the chance even though I'm at that stage with my boy where I think we'd both like to say it and but wouldn't dare :/. pretty silly and sad.
