what PHD can you do with mechanical engineeringSay If I graduated with a 2.1 in Mechanical engineering Meng or Beng, what PHD programmes could I apply to, I know about the EngD but are there traditional PHD's available in Physics and Mathematics in particular? that an engineering graduate could apply for.

EngD is just a more practical version of PhD. You can do either. -
