You would definitely be in the 5-6 mark category.
I wrote along the same lines, but i drew the young's modulus type experiment using a spring, instead of it hanging from above, i also didn't say saw draw a graph and working the gradient, i said divide the force by the change in length by using f=kl, how many marks would i get ?? thanks a whole bunch .

Do you think I'd get the mark for putting almost in antiphase for the first one, and almost in phase for the second one?
Dont ask me why I put that I have no idea why I did :')
Antiphase will get you a mark. almost in phase wont :P

they were both "out of phase" right?

No. you had to be specific. one was 1/2landa out, an theother was 7/8landa out. (or you could have used angles, such as pi radians and 1 3/4 pi radians phase difference)

naa mate i said STATE the RELATIONSHIP no way the would expect you to calculate that in AS if so they would clarify by saying CALCULATE the phase DIFFERENCE not relationship etc...there was a big discussion about this....it just asks for "in phase" "out of phase"

Oh I see. But nether are in phase & radians are in the specc. Although I'm sure these points have been raised already. We will just have to wait and see then :P

Again, that sounds like you did a really good job at the 6 marker. You clearly have a coherent selection of the ideas that examiners are to look for during marking. 5-6 marks for sure.

Yeah, that should be fine in either case. No problem.

thanks man ! i also have a few more questions, in the moments question i put Pa (pascals) instead of Nm would i get a mark ?
also for the moments of the back foot i got the right equation but instead of taking away moments clockwise from the anti-clockwise, i divided it as a foolish mistake, but i wrote the right working out, am i likely to still get any marks out of 3 ???
sorry for taking so much of your time ! but thanks much appreciated !

Dont worry about it. But I've noticed so many people under perform in the ISA, but the boundaries are always really high ? Who are the students that pull the boundaires up ... ... I got 41 in my isa
It's quite clear a lot of cheating is going on. 66% being a grade D is just not justified on reflection of the actual papers, where 70% is sometimes an A grade.

You will get the mark for Pa. You will get 1 mark out of the three for your error.

Very well said, I think AQA need to rethink having modules marked internally, or even sat in class rooms. For my ISA, students were literally sitting right next to each other, on the same bench, centimeters away...

No he wont get the mark for Pa 1 pascal (Pa) = 1 Nm^-2 (i.e. force/area for a cable) Pa is not the same as Nm

Very true, I misread Nm for Nm^-2. You will not get the mark. Thank you for spotting my error... but lets hope his examiner misreads that too eh ? haha
