    half equation help
    1. write a half equation for reaction between calcium ions and hydroxide ions
    2. write a half equation for reaction between barium ions and chromium ions

    for 1. is this right:

    Ca2- + 2OH+ -> Ca(OH)2

    and for 2, what are the products?

    For the first one you need to swap the signs around, Ca is 2+ and OH is 1-, you might want to add state symbols as well.

    Not sure about second one, will edit if i work it out.

    Re: half equation help
    These are ionic equations not half equations. Half equations are written for redox processes and involve electrons.
