ITGS or History?

Hey guys,

We're having course selection and I've up researching all night the pro's and cons of all the courses I'm going to be taking. Write now I'm planning on taking:

Math HL
Chemistry HL
Biology HL
English SL
French SL

I have to choose one more course. The thing is I'm having a hard time deciding. I need to choose between ITGS SL and History SL. My dad says ITGS is better because it applies to the present world and he thinks I'll do better in it. On the other hand History is a course that universities usually look for... I'm planning on going to university to do the sciences in hopes of joining medical school later on...
So... Which course is better: ITGS or History SL?
