I don't know if there are any rooms left, but the Old Fire Station is ensuite and significantly cheaper than the equivalent uni accommodation. It's only five minutes walk from Hillhead as well.

i think it will be better because if you have to go for a shower then you have to like walk down a cold hall...
ah, I didn't think of that. I think I'm probably gonna go for South House. But then again, there's more people sharing a kitchen in Wavel (or whatever it's called), so I kinda think you would meet more people? idk
is it the start of May that we are able to book accom?

I think I'm going to go for flat style halls, because I think it might be easier to make close friends to go out with and that?

COOL! I wasn't sure if it was going to be a popular option or not, did you apply for it because of the compulsory year abroad too?
and yeah New Carnegie looks a bit too expensive, I mean it's only a room after all... but it does look the best

The year abroad was definitely a huge factor in my choice. I want to work for the EU or UN so figured this would be most appropriate. New Carnegie is definitely expensive so I feel like a bit of a spoilt brat but I have severe allergies so my Mum is paranoid about me sharing a kitchen with loads of people, but it's got an en-suite so I won't complain. I'm not really fussed where I end up as long as there's some cool people near

Ah, I just thought the year abroad would give life experience, language experience, and give the recession a chance to go :L
An yeah, I wasn't too fussed about having an en-suite but it seems a big factor for loads of people so I think you're lucky and yeah cool people, ah I'm so excited

    Cheers!
Accommodation is so bad... There are only 3 mixed halls. Dunno if it's a Scottish thing or something haha.
I think I'll probably apply for Wavell, it's cheap-ish, self catered, near to an astro turf and well... there wasn't anything else aha...
    Hbu?
