iPhone 4 and the facebook app. I'm confused.
I have downloaded the facebook app onto my iPhone 4 and when I post a status via the app it says, via mobile, when it should say via iPhone.

Why is that and how do I get it to change to via iPhone?

I think they got rid of the 'via iPhone' on one of the recent updates to the app, so it just says 'via mobile' now.

So how would I download an older version where it would say via iPhone?

There's no easy way to do that-the store only has the latest versions, though why would you want to? Old versions are slower and might not even be compatible with your iPhone.

    What is iOS
The software which the iPhone runs. For example, if you've updated your phone to the latest iOS you might not be able to run the older editions of the Facebook app.

This is what puts me off buying an iPhone.

You could just type 'sent from my iPhone' at the end of each post. Then people will know.
